Caterine Milinaire was born in Paris, France. She was educated there and in England. Her professional life in the print world started in London. She came to New York to work for Vogue Magazine as a youth fashion editor, and soon started writing and taking photographs for her own stories. Caterine has been working based in the United States, all her adult life. She went on as a free lance photographer to shoot various stories around the world for the Sygma news agency, now a part of Corbis Archives .


In the past her photographs and articles have appeared in Vogue, Holiday, New York Magazine, People, Rolling Stone and Interview. She is the author and photographer of three text and picture books published by Harmony Books, a division of Random House: “Birth”, “Cheap Chic”, and “Celebrations”.


C. Milinaire works principally in the visual fields of photography, and mixed media.
